A wedding with a fairy tale theme would not be complete without an array of beautiful blossoms and bouquets. Opt for a colourful, whimsical colour scheme and keep your bouquets neat and perfectly arranged. We love using some pastel shaded ribbons to hold a wedding bouquet together, it adds a stylish accent and compliments the theme.

Every couple have their favourite type of flower, but if you want to stay with the fairy tale theme, some pastel roses are a must.

One upon a time…  two people said ‘I do’, but first lets talk about their amazing wedding menu! We know that the food you serve at your wedding can be a tricky decision, but most wedding coordinators will be on hand to talk you through the options.

The style of the menu, however, can be completely designed by you! Why not keep your fairy tale going with a poem or rhyme to start off your meal?

Channel Elsa from Frozen and Repunzel with a ‘messy braid’. This is a great way to keep long hair styled but out of the way during the celebrations.

You could even accessorise with a pretty twist. We love how this bridal hairstyle is finished with some delicate white cut flowers, perfect for a Disney princess on their wedding day.

From breathtaking outfits to dazzling festivities, their glamorous wedding week is still making headlines, and we loved seeing such an amalgamation of cultures and faiths as the families joined together.

To start the wedding celebrations, Priyanka’s mother Dr Madhu Chopra hosted a traditional puja ceremony. Both sides of the wedding party gathered together before the big day to enjoy the tradition.

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends…#grateful @nickjonas 📹/📷: @calebjordanlee @josevilla @josephradhik

The sangeet was held at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhavan Palace on Friday. The families enjoyed putting on competitive performances of singing and dancing. Chopra’s family opted for Bollywood-style pieces, while the Jonas family blew everyone away with lip syncing of Hindu songs!

Priyanka also showcased highlights of The Mehdi on Instagram, captioning: “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing.”

The couple were married by Jonas’ father Paul Kevin Jonas in a Christian ceremony, but also incorporated traditional Hindu festivities into the week of fun. For the Christian ceremony, Priyanka chose a beautiful custom Ralph Lauren gown. The intricate design took a staggering 1,826 hours to complete! And what a dress it was.

Jonas was also dressed in custom Ralph Lauren, opting for a sophisticated double-breasted black tuxedo. The inside lapel of the suit featured personalized stitching of the words “my jaan”. This sentimental phrase translates to “my life”.

Outfits for the Hindu ceremony were especially beautiful. The bride wore a red lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherji. Speaking to Hello! magazine, Priyanka shared: “I always knew I wanted a red traditional silhouette for my wedding, but Sabya brought in incredible French embroidery to the mix, and with incredible jewellery and western-inspired veil. It was just such an amalgamation of who I am!”.

Priyanka told the press: “I love that our wedding was a religious mash-up. A 30 James Street Wedding is the Luckiest in Liverpool

Our talented team at 30 James Street recently carried out a fascinating study into all of the wonderful weddings we have hosted in our luxurious venue over the years. We know that a 30 James Street wedding is something many couples dream of, from the amazing views, to the historic backdrop and the opulent features.

But, what we really wanted to find out was just how lucky our beautiful venue was. So, we decided to ask all of the brides and grooms who have graced our aisle how they were getting on since their big day!

30 James Street wedding

After hearing the news from the Office of National Statistics in 2016 that revealed 101,055 opposite sex couples divorced in England and Wales, we just had to find out whether this was true for our happy couples.

To our amazement, of the 500 weddings that have taken place at our glorious venue 30 James Street, 485 of them are still going strong today! That’s a wonderful 97% of our beautiful brides and grooms that chose to tie the knot with us are still happily married.

Our amazing hotel 30 James Street first opened its doors in 2014, set within a magnificent piece of Liverpool’s historic maritime past, Albion House. Once home to the White Star Line’s headquarters, this iconic building had been left empty and had sadly fallen into disrepair.

Aspiring to breathe new life back into the beautiful building, the Signature Living Group saved and redeveloped this magical building, transforming it into the luxurious Titanic inspired hotel we see today.

The White Star Grand Hall was the first Signature Living venue to host an amazing Liverpool wedding. Within walls that once served as a first class waiting lounge for White Star Line passengers, couples began to walk down aisles, say their vows to each other and celebrate their marriage in truly elegant surroundings.

Since the very first 30 James Street wedding, we have always made sure that our couples experience the day of their dreams, from catering to planning, decoration and thoughtful personal touches. We specialise in delivering the most enchanting wedding days.

Signature Living’s proprietor and co-founder Katie Kenwright said: “30 James Street has become synonymous with weddings since we opened the hotel over four years ago. We offer complete packages – luxury bridal suites, rooftop bar and restaurant and spa – so brides and grooms feel completely relaxed in preparation for their big day.

“We know people want to relive the moment they officially tied the knot, so on their anniversary couples can return for a complimentary stay. Perhaps this is just one of the reasons why our approach has proven to be successful, with marriages that have taken place in our venue truly standing the test of time.

But, don’t just take our word for it, newlywed Becky who married her now-husband Charlie in June told us; “We chose 30 James Street for our special day because of its perfect location. People within the hotel go above and beyond to accommodate requests, putting you at ease on what is arguably the biggest moment of your life. Our winter wedding was perfect and we have nothing but happy memories, and other married couples appear to feel the same as we do!”

A 30 James Street wedding is the perfect venue to begin your journey to the rest of your lives together. The White Star Grand Hall is perfect for larger weddings, whereas Carpathia is perfect for smaller, more intimate receptions. With a range of seating plans to suit weddings of all sizes, we can help to personalise your big day. Our dedicated wedding coordinators are on hand to make sure every detail is meticulously taken care of, so you can enjoy every special moment.
